Launched in 2013, CHECKMATE is a recent addition to the renowned Benetti Vision series, revolutionizing semi-custom Italian yacht construction and influencing many of the sub- 500 GT Italian series yachts seen today. CHECKMATE has a comfortable cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum range of 3,500 nm at 12 knots, powered by two Caterpillar diesel engines. The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 staterooms, supported by a crew of up to 10 members. Its interior is spacious and functional, providing a guest experience that surpasses many modern 500 GT designs. CHECKMATE is in excellent condition, having undergone significant refits in 2021 and 2022.
Exterior: Italian Sleekness Meets Robust Build
Checkmate showcases an exterior design crafted by Stefano Righini Design. The newly applied light blue Awlgrip hull paint enhances Checkmate's modern vibe, complementing the revamped interior aesthetic. Setting her apart from similar vessels are distinctive design elements, including larger square port hulls for enhanced views, a bespoke sky lounge with additional windows, and an extra day head on the sun deck. Notable outdoor features include an aft spa pool, curved seating on the flybridge, and sun pads located at the bow on the main deck.
Classical Elegance
CHECKMATE'S interior was penned by the team at Zuretti Interior Design, complemented by recent upgrades. It consists of a blend of Cherry and Burr Madrona woods offset against vivid modern colours to create both a Stylish yet warm feel that will appeal to a wide range of palates. On the main deck, the master suite epitomises luxury with it's expansive layout providing a 180-degree panoramic views and a private Owner's terrace forward with a huge amount of space and natural light. This indulgent suite includes a king-sized bed with premium linens, a walk in closet offering generous storage and a private office area. The en-suite bathroom, a design masterpiece, features a large soaking tub, a spacious shower, al adorned with marble and high end fixtures. Four further spacious guest cabins on the lower deck mean that no-one is left disappointed. An extremely large main salon and generous sky lounge are further reasons why the Vision series proved so popular.
