Silvertip

Silhouette and Seascape

Designed by Ed Dubois and built by the leading Southern Hemisphere Superyacht builder, Yachting Developments, S/Y SILVERTIP is a yacht of outstanding pedigree. No element of her design was overlooked during the build to ensure that she delivers on all points of sail. This is achieved through her light displacement, considered hull form and rig design from Southern Spars, through to her innovative lifting keel to ensure that she delivers an abundance of performance. Easily driven with a light touch on the helm she is a joy to sail in light breeze or in more challenging conditions, a key consideration for the Owner whose brief was for a world cruising yacht. Powered by a 300 HP Lugger main engine she comfortably cruises at 10 knots under motor, reaching a maximum speed of 11 knots with a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles from her 9,100 litre fuel tanks. Consistently maintained, upgraded and optimised by one meticulous Owner, S/Y "SILVERTIP" is in excellent condition. A yacht that is ideally suited to world cruising or taking part in Superyacht Regattas around the globe
